Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is League’s own spinoff on DOTA’s Underlords. If you have tried this fairly recent game mode out, you know that it is very different from standard League of Legends gameplay.
To ensure that new players do not get confused between the two, Riot Games has separated League and TFT within the League of Legends client. Everything from TFT’s battle pass to its match history gets a separate tab.
There are two methods of checking your TFT match history within the League of Legends client, along with a number of third party websites for the same.
How To Check TFT Match History Within The Client?
In the League of Legends client, you can view your TFT match history from two different places. These methods are only slightly different from each other and will show you your last 20 TFT games.
1. From Your League Profile:
The first method is to simply check your match history from your profile in the League client. In order to do so, follow these simple steps:
- Open the League of Legends client.
- Log into the account on which you have played Teamfight Tactics before.
- Click on the Profile icon next to the Collection, Loot, and Store icons on the top right of your screen.
- Click on the Match History tab present next to the Challenges and Ranked tabs.
- Finally, click on the TFT sub-tab that now shows. Your last 20 TFT matches will be displayed.
2. From the TFT Tab:
There is another way to view the same list of your last 20 TFT matches. This method is slightly shorter than the one above. These alternative steps are:
- Open the League of Legends client.
- Log into the account on which you play Teamfight Tactics.
- Click on the TFT tab at the top of the screen, present alongside the Home and Clash tabs.
- Click on the Match History sub-tab. Again, your last 20 TFT matches will be shown on the screen.
Information Displayed:
The list of your last 20 Teamfight Tactics matches will show you a lot of things. You can use this list to check the combination of champions you used to get yourself a victory. You can also check the traits you activated and the augments you picked.
On the left side, you can see the game mode you were playing, the time you played the match, and the ranking you achieved within that match, along with the date you played that match on.
As you can tell, the match history page for Teamfight Tactics within the League client is pretty limited. Where you can open any match from the match history in detail for League of Legends, you cannot do the same for TFT.
Third Party Websites:
For more detailed insights and overviews of your TFT match history, you can also pick one of the many third-party websites available for teamfight tactics.
These websites will show you your total number of wins and losses, your win percentage, your matches played, and your ranked tier progress.
Like the match history within the client, you can also see your match duration. Champions picked, tiers attained, and augments selected. But in addition to all that, these websites also let you see the items you gave to each champion.
If all that information is not enough, websites like tracker.gg also show you everyone else in the match, and you can see any of their profiles as well. So if someone absolutely destroys you in a TFT match, just look at their build patterns and start playing that way.
As they say, if you cannot beat them, be them.
Can You Get Banned For Using These?
These websites use Riot’s official API, so Riot has absolutely no problem with you using them. In fact, if you are serious about improving in Teamfight Tactics, you should definitely try these third-party websites out.
Our Verdict:
There are different ways of checking your Teamfight Tactics match history, but if you are a hardcore player, you should look at one of the third-party websites that offer it for your profile.
